The project
Tasked to support the implementation of a safety first culture for GSK employees, contractors and subcontractors. With a diverse and global workforces, GSK wanted to engage with everyone in understanding the safety behaviours required to keep everyone safe, with no exceptions.
The design of all safety and best practice tools was flexible to enable them to be used digitally or face to face, in teams or by individuals, onsite or working from home.
The big picture tool focused the user on a fictional WREF site and challenged employees to spot the typical hazards in their everyday working environments. This interactive tool provided an opportunity to view workplace hazards with fresh eyes and was used to support conversations about the right behavior for different safety scenarios.
We presented "Good News Stories" as an opportunity to regularly highlight positive safety behaviours and practices demonstrated by individuals or teams across WREF and to recognise and thank those who made a difference.
We created interactive "Safety Moments" as a series of engaging five-minute activities to be used at the start of meetings to keep safety top of the agenda.
Automated email campaigns with "Safety Check-ins" continued the safety conversation, providing a more in-depth discussion on the risks covered by GSK’s Life Saving Rules.
We rebranded the interactive GSK Safety Rules to be more user friendly, accessible, relevant and impactful.
