The Project
Design-Fuel partnered with Stem Cell Bank to help launch a pioneering brand in regenerative medicine. With a vision to establish a global stem cell bank and make advanced therapies more accessible, the client needed a digital presence that could communicate complex science with clarity and trust.

We began with a comprehensive research and discovery phase, exploring the competitive landscape, user needs, and scientific context. This informed a bilingual UX and UI strategy – crafted in both Japanese and English – to serve medical professionals, researchers, and international partners.
From there, we developed a full brand identity, including logo design, visual language, and tone of voice. The branding was designed to reflect the company’s commitment to safety, transparency, and innovation, while remaining approachable to a diverse audience.

We explored a range of logo concepts during the branding phase – each reflecting different facets of the company’s identity, from scientific precision to global ambition – before refining and finalising a mark that confidently represents Stem Cell Bank’s vision for regenerative medicine.
The website was designed and built from the ground up, with all copy created in close collaboration with the client. We ensured the messaging was scientifically accurate, user-friendly, and aligned with the company’s global ambitions. As the product was still in development, we also created all product imagery to support the launch.

Our team delivered high-fidelity prototypes and a complete digital toolkit, enabling the client to move confidently into production and marketing. This project showcases our ability to translate complex ideas into elegant, effective design – bridging science and storytelling to support meaningful innovation
