The project
Virgin Media O2 partnered with Design-fuel to visualise the Future of Work for frontline workers.
Using predictions from futurist Tracey Follows, we created a series of realistic, high-impact visuals exploring intelligent uniforms, immersive safety environments, and evolving compensation models — designed for use across media, web, and social platforms to bring Virgin’s future-forward vision to life.
Healthcare
We illustrated future healthcare environments where smart uniforms monitor staff wellbeing and VR clinics allow patients to interact with digital avatars for remote consultations. These visuals highlight how technology enhances care, safety, and efficiency in medical settings.
Engineering
Engineering scenes feature smart gear with built-in sensors and AR-enabled tools that detect faults in real time. The visuals showcase how intelligent uniforms and immersive training environments will redefine safety and precision in technical roles.
Manufacturing
In manufacturing, we depicted workers using connected wearables and adaptive clothing that respond to environmental conditions. These visuals reflect a future where productivity and wellbeing are balanced through smart, responsive technologies.
Warehouse
Warehouse visuals focus on dynamic compensation models, showing workers tracking real-time pay adjustments based on performance. Intelligent uniforms and wearable tech support comfort and communication, while futuristic interfaces streamline task management.
