ALDI PIZZA TAKEAWAY

A slice of digital disruption

The project
When Clarion PR approached us to help bring ALDI’s bold pizza delivery stunt to life, we knew it called for more than just a website — it needed a standout digital experience.
Design Fuel was responsible for the full website design and build for aldipizzadelivery.co.uk, the central hub for ALDI’s first-ever pizza delivery service. The campaign targeted students in Manchester, Cardiff, and Edinburgh with a limited-time offer that blended supermarket value with takeaway convenience.
Our role was to translate that energy into a visually engaging, intuitive, and high-performing platform that could handle launch-day demand and deliver a seamless booking journey.
What we delivered:
We delivered a bold, campaign-led website design that captured the fun, fast-food energy of the ALDI pizza launch. The layout was fully responsive and mobile-first, tailored specifically to student audiences engaging with the campaign on the go. At the core of the experience was a custom-built pre-booking system with postcode validation, allowing users to easily secure their delivery slots. Behind the scenes, the site was optimised for high-traffic spikes and media coverage, ensuring smooth performance throughout the campaign’s peak moments.
This project is a great example of how we collaborate with PR and brand teams to create digital experiences that amplify campaigns and drive real engagement.
